| Blade learned to steal for a living in order to survive. He became a descent thief and was never caught until he tried stealing from a small band of rangers. They set a trap for him and caught him by surprise. One of the rangers, Eric, took a liking to the little thief and asked him to join their band for a short time, provided he helped with menial tasks and kept his thieving little fingers to himself. Blade agreed, having no better path to follow. However, greatly deveated from their destination, the rangers eventually taught the thief many of their ranger skills. Blade had helped out the band greatly and even saved one of their lives in a crucial moment. The rangers knicknamed him DangerBlade. The rangers equipped him with some of their best provisions that were found along the way. Eventually the band of rangers arrived at their destination, their orders main headquarters. Eric sought to have Blade added to their order as he had helped them along their journey and proved his worth. However the leader of the rangers took dislike to Blade and denied their request. Eric, greatly saddened, gave Blade his blessing and some parting gifts to make his own way.
