Stachia - Erth Mother
Stachia is said to be a manifestation of the Erth itself. Her followers believe she is the Shattered god of Neutrality and pre-dates all gods but Dunamis. Her nature is strongly cyclical, and all of her Aspects reflect the cyclical pattern of the seasons.

Stachia controls the seasons, day and night, all growth, and time (as it pertains to these areas). Her powers, abilites and characteristics are alll bound to the seasons, and her Avatars use the same chart as her followers to determine spell and ability effectiveness.

Stachia's Avatars usually appear as a comely humanoid female with onyx black skin. She never willingly leaves contact with the surface of the Erth. She is the sometime-consort of Mar-Boro, and the mother of the First Druid. She will always come to their aid and expects her cultists to do the same.

She is invulnerable to all Erth, plant, or stone-based attacks, and she cannot be effected by any of the other elements when she is in contact with the Erth. She carries the Rod of Counteraction (a gift from Mar-Bor) which does 2d10 damage and allows her one more attack per round than the combined total of her opponents. In addition she has these abilities, usable 1x/round each but otherwise at will: Summon Dao, Erth Elemental, Xorn or Crysmal; Speak to plant or animal; Stone Tell, Stoneshape, Stone skin; Rock to mud (or reverse) Spike Growth; Dig; Move Erth; Wall of Stone; Sink; Animate Rock.

Her cult is very widespread, and in Alannis is second in numbers only to Dunamis Powerhurler. It is especially popular among elves, woodland creatures, and those who depend on the Erth for sustenance. Temples can be nomadic or established, as simple as a hastily thrown-together circle of small stones or as elaborate as the Grand Procession in Airobie.

Priestesses of the cult may be Cleric or Druid, may be of any race, but must be female. Druids entering the Priesthood gain the Favored Weapon just as do Clerics.

All followrs are forbidden from abusing the Erth and the natural plants and creatures that are part of it.

All of Stachia's Divine spells, and the use of her cult ability, are effected by the season according to the following chart:
Season Spell Affect Cult Ability
Winter

75%

50% (5 cu.ft./lvl/mo)
Spring

150%

200%(20 cu.ft./lvl/mo)
Summer

100%

150%(15 cu.ft./lvl/mo)
Fall

100%

75% (7 1/2 cu.ft./lvl/mo)

To apply the chart, simply multiply any number that appears in the spell description times the percent shown for the season. This includes range, area of effect, number of missiles or number appearing, any number that is not part of the title of the spell. Seasons change at midnight on each solstice or equinox. Arcane spells cast by cultists or priestesses are not changed by the seasons.
